Deputy Chief, Community Relations
Central County Fire Rescue
Jason has been in the fire service for 28 years, the latter 25 as a career firefighter. He was promoted to Deputy Chief in 2020, where he continues to serve as the Community Relations Officer for Central County Fire Rescue in St. Peters, MO.
Throughout his career, Jason has served in many roles, including an emergency 911 dispatcher for 15 years and the director of a youth sports program serving 600+ children for 12 years. He remains active in his church and community, serving as a member of Vision St. Charles County Leadership, St. Peters Rotary, and an Advisory Council member for the Child Advocacy Center.
He and his wife have been married for 29 years and have three children, ages 22, 15 and 13. They both have served in their community as foster parents and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), advocating for children as they navigate the court and foster care systems.
It is through his own personal journey through PTSD that he has become an advocate for mental health and helping others find the balance between career and life, challenging them to become the best version of themselves.
