Zach Whitney

Zach Whitney is formerly the communications director for the Utah Department of Commerce. He now works for Intermountain Health on the on the executive communication team supporting senior level management with strategic communication and brand management.

Zach previously served on the GSM membership council representing the western states of Utah, Nevada, California, and Hawaii. Zach worked in state government communications for over five years managing social media, developing strategic communication plans and producing video. Zach credits his former work life as a television news reporter for much of his knowledge of storytelling and visual media. True to his name, outside of work, Zach is a LEGO maniac.
