Zac Murphy is focused on cinematic storytelling for public service. Zac’s career began by developing content engagement strategies for English First, a global corporation with an online language learning product. This experience functioned as his film school, where he learned how to pull people into a good story to build understanding. Zac has worked in brand journalism globally for over a decade with companies like Siemens, Disney, and Procter & Gamble. Currently, he is focused on storytelling for public service in Washington state. His award-winning work has premiered at the Hong Kong Film Festival, Antwerp Museum of Cinematography, Worldfest Houston Film Festival, and Idyllwild Festival of Cinema in California. While employed at The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Washington School Public Relations Association recognized his public service work. Colleagues and clients refer to Zac as a story architect for his pursuit of authentic narrative threads that reveal meaningful insights within the stories he constructs.

Zac received his Master’s of Communication in Digital Media from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
